Yamaha Natural Sound DVD-S2300 DVD SACD Player 5.1 Surround Sound PARTS / REPAIR.
This Yamaha DVD / DVD audio / Super Audio CD player is in good physical condition. It has been tested and it is not working. During my time testing it, it did not power on most of the time. However I did get it to power on on multiple occasions.
When powered on, the disc tray opens and closes very smoothly without issues. I tested it with a regular DVD and a regular CD and it does not successfully read discs. I can hear the motor spinning and the laser moving as it attempts to read discs. It tries, but it can't successfully read discs. Eventually the motor stops spinning and it comes up with a "No Play" error.
I have connected it to a TV via component and it does display a normal picture. All the buttons on the front panel work fine as well.
Cosmetically, this player is in good clean condition. There are scratches, mainly on the top of the player. Overall this player has trouble powering on and it cannot read discs so it is being sold as-is for parts or repair. No remote or cables are included.
